It all began when my next door neighbor, fed one stray cat (need I say more). Before long, spring arrived and then there were 6. By the time I moved to the property next to hers there were 32 cats and kittens of all sizes and colors living in her 3 car garage! 

I had been catching, adopting, spaying and nuetering strays for years before that .When I saw her tribe, all of which were happily procreating, I mentioned that I would be happy to help, before her husband put her out in the garage with all the cats!

So each day we brought them one by one to the local veterinarian and before the month was out they were  nuetered, spayed ,deflead ,cleaned up and all had the cutest names, fitting thier 32 distinct personalities. While her husband nearly fell over when he saw the Vet bill he soon realized he made out much better than the he would have with a divorce lawyers bill!

Hence word spread that I was great with cats. My cat sitting days began. At the time I was  single and although I had a career as a Paramedical Esthetician, when the phone rang and someone wanted me to care for their cats I came running. Did I mention I LOVE CATS!!

Now there were quite a few dogs, rabitts, ferrets, gerbils and horses that sometimes came along with these cat loving homes but due to a shoulder injury I now just care for cats.

My home is currently filled with the love of one sweet stray. She must have lived on the streets for quite a while and is afraid of just about everything except my husband and myself. With lots of love and patience she now lets us pet her and when she isn't purring she has become quite the conversationalist.
